Quick answers on UK peptide regulation, our quality standards, ordering, and aftercare. Every product we supply is for in-vitro and preclinical laboratory research use only.
Legality & regulation
Are research peptides legal in the UK?
Most research peptides — including BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, retatrutide, and tirzepatide — are not controlled substances under the UK Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. They may be lawfully supplied for laboratory research use only. Supply for human or veterinary consumption is prohibited under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012 and Medicines for Human Use Regulations.
Do you ship to the EU after Brexit?
Yes. We ship to Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, France, and other EU member states via tracked DHL Express or UPS, with full customs documentation including tariff codes and a Research Use Only declaration.
Are peptides MHRA-approved?
The peptides we supply are not authorised by the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for human medicinal use. They are supplied strictly for in-vitro and preclinical research.
Quality & verification
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
A COA is the third-party laboratory document confirming a peptide’s HPLC purity, mass-spectrometry identity, and bacterial endotoxin level. We supply a COA from Optima Labs (UK) with every batch.
What HPLC purity do you guarantee?
Typical HPLC purity across the catalogue is 99.0–99.7%. Each batch is tested independently and the result is published on the per-batch COA.
Who tests your peptides?
All batches are tested by Optima Labs, an independent UK-based analytical chemistry facility. We do not use in-house testing for purity claims.
Ordering & payment
Do you ship next-day in the UK?
Yes — orders placed before 14:00 UK time on a working day ship the same day via Royal Mail Tracked 24, with next-working-day UK delivery.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and bank transfer for orders over £500.
Do you offer wholesale or research-institution accounts?
Yes — email wholesale@peptideslabuk.com with your institution name and intended use. Volume pricing applies above 50 vials per month.
Storage & reconstitution
How should peptides be stored?
Lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptides should be stored at -20°C protected from light. Reconstituted peptides should be stored at 2–8°C and used within the stability window stated on the COA.
How is a peptide reconstituted?
Lyophilised peptides are reconstituted in laboratory settings with bacteriostatic water. Use the Peptides Lab UK reconstitution calculator to convert vial mg, water mL, and target concentration into mL draw and U-100 syringe units.
Returns & aftercare
Do you accept returns?
Sealed, undamaged products may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund minus original shipping. See the full returns policy.
Is my data and order private?
Yes. Customer data is processed under UK GDPR. Order details are not shared with third parties beyond shipping carriers. See the privacy policy for the full data-controller statement.
All products supplied by Peptides Lab UK are for in-vitro and preclinical research use only. Not for human consumption, veterinary use, or any non-research application.
